youth chess tournament
This will be an open tournament for youth ages 8-18. More details will be provided closer to the tournament, but we will start with two age groups and proceed with a swiss style competition. The tournament has now reached capacity! If you would like to waitlist, please email j.oldfield@uleth.ca.

A chess game between two people can be mesmerizing to watch - so why not enjoy one chess player taking on simultaneous opponents?

Enjoy giant outdoor chess, family play with Building Brains Together, a low-cost lunch and more - all on site at the Galt!

Our youth tournament has reached capacity for this year! If you would like to get put on the wait list in the event a competitor is unable to attend, please email j.oldfield@uleth.ca
Even if you’re not able to join the tournament, please come by in the afternoon for some chess games, family activities and our simultaneous chess demonstration at 1:30pm.
Lunch will be available on site at 12pm for $5 (cash please!).
